![]() ![]() Picture when i picked it up im sure i took more but cant seem to find them it was in a scrapyard (itwas actually a london car which why it was so clean. it was cheap but in scotland ( im from northwales) i had the decision to make weather i was gonna go down the rusty straight car route or the bent but very clean route. Right now all that pic whoring of cars that are unrelated to the title are done with lets move onto the project car after we bought the house but before we even moved in i got tagged in a s14 with crash dramage if you havent guessed i work in a body shop so this was right up my street. ^^ One of the criteria of the new house it must come with a garage !Īnd some random shots from a photographer that we met at the nurburgring If people were wondering where my s14a was during all this here are some highlight photos ( can post them all if people are intrested) i replaced the mounts and did a few more drift days but then my girlfriend and inner adult me decided it would be best to buy a house so i had to sell the drift car to help fund the deposit. paint the car to matchĪfter that last picture in teeside it went all down hill, i snapped both engine mounts and ended up driving 200miles home with the engine rachetstrapped in. i ended up buying a set of dakar yellow msport bumpers and did the only sensible thing. ![]() I came home from the first drift day and bought a 2.8 engine and box and fitted it the following weekĪfter fitting a 2.8 i decided i needed buckets because the leather seats were not that supporting ( who would of though it !) so i got some buckets and ended up with hubs and arms off a friend aswell so i did a few drift days and really enjoyed it more power made things much more easierĪt the beginning i was really up for turning my 200quid compact into a "missile" and didnt really care for what it looked like but towards the end i really started to love the little compact that could and decided to treat it to a freshen up. I welded the diff threw some coilovers on it and took it to the track and very soon found out i really wasnt good enough to drift something under powered. I decided to buy a dedicated drift car so here came the little 318ti compact Little background on me and the car and how i came about it ( although i know your only here for the pictures ) Im Adam im 27 i have a little to very little drifting experience i started life in a s14a being naughty in mexico and caught the drifting bug. ![]() To all but the most serious of series fans, these are minor annoyances, not deal-breakers, and while they are worth mentioning, they're nothing that should sway serious racing fans from taking Project Cars 3 for a spin.So from lurking these forums for along time i thought id contribute, part to show you guys my project part to give me motivation to finish. Also, some of the text in the menus is hard to read if, like a good gamer, you sit a reasonable distance from your screen. Hard-core fans of this series will also lament how you can't run out of gas or have your tires wear out, and thus don't have to make pit stops (though, to some people, this is a blessing, not a curse). There are deeper racing games out there, ones with more events (though some would argue, too many). That's not to say that this racer is flawless, because it's hardly that. You have to earn that first-place finish. More importantly, your competition when you play against the computer is actually competitive, and won't just let you win no matter what difficulty setting you've chosen. Not only does it have options that can make it feel like a simulation or an arcade-esque game, and all points in between, but it also has a similarly wide variety of race types, tracks, and cars. Like it's competition, Project Cars 3 is a full-service racing game. Thanks to solid controls and twisty tracks, but some poor design choices, this is a flawed but fun racing game. ![]()
